Food Policy

Meal guarantees are the minimum number to be provided and charged to the group. Meal guarantees are required fourteen (14) working days prior to the scheduled function. The fourteen-day notice does not include Saturday and Sunday. If no guarantee is provided, the original estimate or the actual number served, whichever is greater, will be the number for which you will be charged.  Per health code, guests cannot take any leftover food off premise

Liquor Policy

At no times can a minor consume alcohol on our premises.  All individuals under the age of 21 that are attending a wedding or public event must be accompanied by a legal guardian.  A valid Maine State I.D is a minimum requirement for each attendee.  For those without a valid Maine State I.D., we require one other valid source of identification.  We reserve the right to refuse service to attendees who have insufficient or inconclusive I.D.  Staff is authorized to refuse service if in their opinion or circumstances warrant so.  Maine State law prohibits guests from supplying their own alcohol.  All alcohol to include beer, wine, spirits, and champagne – must be purchased through The Compass Room of The Clambake Restaurant.  There are no exceptions to this rule. Any one caught bringing in any outside alcohol or drinking in the parking lot will be asked to leave the property no matter the circumstance.  All alcoholic beverages are to be consumed inside building and designated outdoor locations only.  Liquor can not be taken off property at anytime even if it’s unopened.

We require a credit card on file so all bar services can be closed out by the end of the event.  The Compass Room does not allow for more than five (5) hours total of Bar Service per State Regulations.
